UPSC Releases DAF for Civil Services Main Exam 2023, Check Details Here

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has recently announced the release of the UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2023 Detailed Application Form (DAF). Candidates who successfully passed the CSE Preliminary Exam can now register for the Main Examination at upsc.gov.in. The registration period will go through July 19, 6:00 PM.

The much-anticipated Civil Services Main test is set to take place on September 15, 2023. As the exam date approaches, applicants should expect the admission card and information about their assigned exam centers to become available. These details will be posted on the commission’s website three to four weeks before the examination date. On May 28, 2023, the CSE Preliminary Examinations, the first stage of the selection process, was held. The results of the tests were officially announced on June 12, 2023. Candidates who have passed the preliminary stage must now apply for the Civil Services Main Examination using the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I).

The number of vacancies scheduled to be filled by the UPSC CSE 2023 is estimated to be around 1105. As a result, individuals who sit the next main examination have an excellent chance of pursuing a career in public service. The UPSC has stated clearly in their official announcement that applicants who have qualified for the preliminary round must complete the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) within the timeframe specified. From July 10, 2023, till July 19, 2023, at 6:00 PM, the application form will be available on the UPSC website.

Candidates are urged to visit the official UPSC website for detailed information and to finish the application procedure by the deadline. This is a critical phase in their preparation for the Civil Services Main Exam and a possible future in India’s prestigious Civil Services.

Steps to Apply Online:

Step 1: Visit the official website; upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Complete the Time Registration.
Step 3: Check for the Latest Notification Tab in the OTR window.
Step 4: Click on the link available for Civil Services Part-I registration.
Step 5: Read the application form instructions carefully and click on Yes.
Step 6: Fill in the basic details in the part-I application form such as Name Date of birth, Category, Gender, Email ID, Contact number, Permanent address, Marital status, Parents’ names, Community, Educational qualification, etc.
Step 7: Check the filled details in the online form carefully and click on Submit.
